LOCAL MISSIONS
Aim Women's Center
The Aim Women's Center provides love and education to pregnant women who might otherwise seek an abortion. By providing sonograms, a listening ear, and loving them without condition, they provide women meaningful alternatives to terminating their pregnancy. Click here to learn more.
Benevolence Fund
Each month we set aside a portion of our tithe to assist local families who are in need. If you need assistance, please contact the church office at 740-264-9679 for a Benevolence form.
Elkhorn Valley Christian Camp
We support Elkhorn Valley Christian Camp by giving kids scholarships to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity. We also provide an annual offering to the camp to assist in its ongoing operation and ministry.
Urban Mission
Under the direction of Rev. Ashley Steel, Urban Mission reaches out to some of our most vulnerable residents in need. Through the work of this ministry, the hungry are fed, the naked are clothed, and the unhoused are provided a warm bed. Click here to learn more.
National MISSIONS
Disaster Relief
Each month Crossroads sets aside funds earmarked for the victims of natural disasters or to send teams of volunteers to aid in the cleanup of these disasters.
Pastor Heri Salamanca
Pastor Heri works with the large Latin American population in Columbiana County, Ohio to help with schooling, housing, and their necessities. Pastor Heri also focuses on their spiritual formation.
Pastor Jason Cline
Pastor Jason Cline was a pastor at Crossroads before being called to plant a church in Columbus, Ohio. He and his wife Dani are in the formative stages of church planting and working with the C3 church planting organization. Few people understand the need for new churches in populated areas, but new churches are where a large percentage of new Christians accept Jesus and are crucial in reaching the next generation for Jesus.
Refuge for Women
The Refuge for Women Emergency Housing, Pittsburgh program, is designed to offer women immediate access to temporary housing, crisis intervention, and other support services. The emergency housing program provides emergency shelter for female survivors of sex trafficking and sexual violence, and exploitation. For more information contact Theresa Golden at 740-792-4374.
Global MISSIONS
Heaven on Earth
Heaven on Earth is a ministry in Kenya, Africa. This ministry supports a school, an orphanage, a church, and numerous outreaches around Homa Bay near Lake Victoria. It also feeds many in this extremely impoverished area.
House of Grace Thailand
House of Grace is a student center in Mowah Village, in Northern Thailand which allows Karen students to finish their secondary education. In addition to discipling high school students, our location adjacent to an elementary school allows our missionaries to introduce Christ to elementary aged students as well. Our missionaries and our high school students have also begun to minister in the mountain villages where all of the children who live at the school are from. Click here for more information.
Overland Missions
The Schwertfeger’s lead and oversee teams that go into remote areas of Africa and reach the lost with the Gospel. They're also involved in building relationships with local governments, between tribes and nations in an effort to establish churches and Christian leaders. Jacob is well respected and consulted by many African leaders. This is rare and is serving to advance the Gospel greatly. Click here for more information.
World Help Peru
Through a dual partnership with "Catch the Vision" and "World Help", Crossroads is underwriting the transformation of Shiriara, a village on the Amazon River in Peru. The transformation includes three water wells for clean water, a new church building, and updates to their public school building over the next three years. The wells were finished in 2019.
Central Asia Boarding
One difficulty for missionaries serving overseas is finding an appropriate education for their children. CAB is an organization designed to help missionary children attend school so that their parents can stay on the mission field. It is a fresh approach to keeping the gospel preached in underserved areas of the world.
Word for the World
Ken and Sue Sawka currently serve in Zambia, Africa where they assist in translating the Bible into various languages. Recently, Ken led a team that translated the Book of Mark into the Kunda language. The Kunda people have never had God’s Word in their native tongue. The efforts of the Sawka’s are literally changing the lives of entire villages. Click here for more information.
Whites
The White family is our partner in the Dominican Republic who run a discipleship training center and orphanage. Crossroads sends a team to work with the Whites each year.
Sowers Ministry
Neil Anderson and the Sower's Ministry are active in areas that many missionaries struggle to work in. Placing Bibles in China, food and Bibles in Tibet, and sharing the gospel in India, Sower's is pursuing in hard to reach spots around the globe.
