Lunchtime Check in | March 18, 2020

Hi everyone, this is Roy! We're hoping everyone is doing well and staying safe. The above video is today's Check In. We hope to use this new Youth Blog so that I can continue to stay connected with everyone. Let's begin! Before TONIGHT'S Live Stream on our Facebook Page at 6pm, watch the following video "Woman At the Well"

This is a copy of tonight's assignment for the Live Stream at 6pm: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1u82c3TMEMmqVqw2zzotwhDzwrGHJnqHE

What were you thinking as you watched the video?

Did you identify with the woman in the video?

Did you think of someone else as you watched the video.

Do you identify with her as she says that God “actually knows me”?

Does He KNOW you? Does God tell you about yourself? What does He say?

Do you feel how He forgave you?

Do you recognize that everyone needs to be known and loved this way?

Do you see the urgency? Do you see the urgency of being known and loved by God?

Teen/Parent interview assignment: Due by Saturday at 5 pm we will choose one or more to include in Sunday’s live feed.

Read John 14:27 together and Teens are to ask (one) of the following questions of their parent or guardian and submit the (2 min or less) video to me through messenger or email: youth@come2crossroads.org

Videos longer than 2 minutes will be disqualified. If you can do more than one question in under 2 minutes, go for it!

John 14:27 New International Version (NIV)

27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

1.How does Jesus give peace?

2.Why does Jesus give peace?

3.What is it about Jesus that gives you the most peace?
