MEET OUR LEADERS
Elder, Senior Pastor
Pastor Jeff gave his life to Jesus and was baptized in 1994 at Glenn Park Christian Church in Wichita, Kansas. He became involved in ministry there almost immediately serving in children’s ministry, visiting shut ins and witnessing whenever and where ever God would allow Him to. He returned to school in 1999 and was ordained in 2001 at Glenn Park. From 2001 until 2004 Jeff was the Senior Pastor of Faith Christian Church in Wichita Kansas.
Pastor Jeff came to Crossroads in 2004 from Wichita Kansas. He and his wife Melissa have four children; Austin, Alicia, Abby and Adrian. Jeff enjoys family activities and is an active runner and cyclist. Without a doubt his passion is helping new Christians learn the Word of God and grow in their faith.
Jeff has a bachelors degree in Christian Ministry from Tabor College, a small, private Mennonite school in Kansas. His Masters in Christian Ministry is from Friends University in Wichita Kansas.
Elder, North River Campus Pastor
Mark left the position of Associate Pastor at the Wintersville Campus to become the Campus Pastor of the North River Campus.
Mark was saved and baptized at the age of 13. Mark holds a Masters Degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University.
He owns Prichard Consulting and resides in Wintersville with his wife, Shari, the Women’s Ministry Leader at Crossroads. Their son, Wesley and his wife Megan have two children; Aurora and Katherine. Their daughter Nicole is married to Robert Smith.
Director of Women's & Worship Ministries
In 2004, Shari joined the staff at Crossroads as Worship Leader and quickly began teaching Women’s Bible Studies and leading Worship. Today she serves as Director of Women’s & Community Ministries. This includes Women’s Ministries, events, the First Impression Team, discipleship, and much more.
Shari is also the President of Women In The Word Ministries, a non-profit focused on teaching women the Word of God. She does this via a television ministry and she published a book, God’s Expectations for His Daughters. The book is a blunt, real conversation which breaks down Biblical values into how-tos for everyday life. It’s real and it’s honest, just like Shari.
She has been married to Mark Prichard since 1988. They have two adult children, and two grandchildren.
Director of Upward Sports
Shawn grew up in the church and was baptized in May of 1985 at The Ohio Valley Christian Center in Steubenville Ohio. Shawn has been married to Jaime for 21 years and has two children: Owen and Samantha.
He has been involved in Upward for 15 years, starting as a coach, then moving to a commissioner, and has been the director for the past five years.
Shawn's hope is that if he can plant a seed through Upward. Then down the road the child or parent will hear something that reminds them of the devotions for which will lead them to the Lord.
Director of Youth Ministry
Roy and his wife, Angela, have 6 kids of their own and a baby grandson. They have attended Crossroads Christian Church since June 2014. Roy accepted Christ at a young age and grew up serving his church and community. He studied business management in college until 1994 and became a business owner from 1996 to 2017.
Additionally, since 1989, Roy has been teaching, first in community organizations, and then in Sunday school for all ages including adult home groups and eventually as a youth director from 1995 to 2000. He is presently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts diploma in Christian Ministries from Northeast Ohio Bible College.
In October of 2017, Roy was hired as full-time youth director. His vision for the youth of our church is to send an army of teens into the community to change hearts and minds with the gospel of Christ. Their motto is now, “Don’t amuse me but use me.”
Wintersville Campus Worship Leader
Charles grew up in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and he accepted Christ at a young age. He first realized and accepted the call to ministry in 2005 while studying mechanical engineering at the University of Arkansas, at which point he began studying music. He transferred to John Brown University, where he graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Sciences in Music, with a minor in Worship Arts.
In 2009, he began serving as worship leader and youth pastor at New Praise Gospel Outreach of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, where he was ordained in 2011. While studying at John Brown University, he served on the worship team at Siloam Springs Assembly of God. Then, in 2016, he was hired as Worship and Youth Minister at The Presbyterian Church of Pittsburg, Kansas.
Charles joined Crossroads as a full-time Worship Director in 2019. He and his wife, Amy, met and were married while studying at John Brown University. Together, they have one son and a dog.
Wintersville Campus Secretary
Christina and her family started attending Crossroads Christian Church in 2013, where they instantly knew this was the church God had called them to attend. She was saved as a child, but not baptized until 2016, by Pastor Jeff. She is married to Marvin Wietrzykowski since 2009. They have three children: Preston, Autumn, and Ezreal. Christina feels very blessed to be part of this church and looks forward to seeing Gods plan unravel for her and her family in the years to come.
North River Campus Secretary
Amy has been secretary at Crossroads – North River Campus (formerly North River Ave. Christian Church) for 12 years. She has an Associates degree in Business Management and has been a secretary for 24 years. Community service is an important part of her life and she has served in community organizations for 17 years, including Cub Scouts, the Toronto Dickens Festival through the former Toronto Chamber of Commerce, 4-H Club, Girl Scouts and she has been the chair person for the Toys 4 Toronto program for the past 3 years. She has been married to her husband, John, for 22 years and they have 3 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs. Her passions are faith, family, community, music, gardening, and her artwork.
Julie is the Treasurer here at Crossroads, and does an amazing job at keeping the financial bookkeeping in top shape. She has been treasurer here since 2007 and feels very blessed to serve our Lord in this position.
Julie has an Associate Degree in Medical Technology from Jefferson Technical College and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Wheeling Jesuit College. She was saved at the age of 12, and was baptized at Crossroads in July of 2006. Julie says, “I have never been to a church like this before and I have loved it from the minute I walked through the doors.”
She is also married to Elder Curt Artman, and enjoys canning her fresh fruits and vegetables from her garden!
North River Youth Ministry Leader
Lacey has been married to her husband Nathan for 12 years and they have 4 children, Avery age 12, Kaleb age 10, Rosalyn age 4 and Genevieve age 2. She was saved and baptized as a small girl, living in Alabama. Then she was rebaptized as an adult in 2011 at Crossroads Christian Church. Lacey is currently working as a registered nurse and has a heart to serve our community through ministering to our youth.
MARK & BECKY PHILLIPS
North River Children Ministry Leaders
Mark & Becky have been married for 28 years. We love doing things together and like each other's company. We have two wonderful adult kids. Marissa is employed full time and is currently enrolled in college to complete her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Andrew is employed full time and is currently enrolled in college to complete his Master's Degree in Family Ministry. Becky and I have been involved with the Children's Ministry for many years as Sunday School teachers and as Upwards Coaches. We are excited about this new Challenge at North River as kid's are the future church. We look forward to meeting new kid's and their parents.
April grew up in Youngstown, OH and attended Trinity Fellowship Church where she was involved in the nursery and their general store. She was baptized at 28 by her father, who is a Deacon at Trinity. April attended Youngstown State University and is currently an Auditor at Gumbys. April moved to Wintersville in 2010 with her husband, Mike, and is blessed with two wonderful girls, Sydney and Danica. April has attended Crossroads since 2010 and has served in the nursery ministry since 2011. April enjoys serving the Lord by volunteering on several committees, primarily helping with the Women’s ministry, volunteering at Refuge for Women Ohio Valley. April enjoys scrapbooking and crafting in her spare time.
Terry was saved in April of 1973 at the age of 17. He married the love of his life, Ruth, in 1976 and they are the proud parents of two children, Nathan and Rachel. Terry and Ruth are blessed to have nine grandchildren. In 1997, Terry graduate from Shiloh Bible Institute. He has been involved in short-term missions trips since 1986, and founded Shepherd’s Gate Ministry in 1995. Terry has a passion in encouraging believers everywhere that they have a destiny to fulfill in Christ and that God has placed gifts and abilities in each one to fulfill this.
Quite possibly one of the first things you will experience when you walk through the doors of Crossroads is a big, wonderful hug from Brother Curt! Getting one of these hugs and a big smile from Curt has become a staple in every Sunday service, so expect to be blessed with a smile and a hug when you come to Crossroads!
Curt was saved and Baptized at the age of 9 and ever since has been active in church. In June ’06, Curt came to call Crossroads his church home, and has since served his God and His people. With a degree in Manufacturing Technology from Bowling Green State Univ, he’s one of our ‘go-to” guys in all things manufacturing. When we have construction projects going on, he’s already there ready to lend a hand. Curt has been involved in building projects, and Children’s Sunday School, and now serves in Men’s Ministry and Upward Concession. What a great guy!
Curt married his wife, Julie, in Aug. 1992. They have a daughter, Andrea, and their late son, Michael, who went to be with the Lord at the age of 13.
